Carol Norton, MD
Carol Norton, M.D. considers herself a native Texan having moved here at age 7. She attended Wellesley College, outside of Boston and then graduated from Duke University Medical School. Dr. Norton returned to Texas to complete her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She has been practicing in Richardson since 1999 and opened Women's Health Associates in 2001. Medicine is her first love and expanding her practice to include aesthetics has been an exciting venture. Dr. Norton is certified in cosmetic techniques including BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers and is trained in all areas of aesthetic and light-based laser technology. She is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) as well as being certified in Body Sculpting/Pure Lipo by Ageless Aesthetic Institute. By combining the latest technology and her intuitive care she is looking forward to adding the finer touch that will allow clients to see themselves as they want to be.
Cori Poovey, WHCNP
Cori Poovey, WHCNP, is a nurse practitioner with over 7 years experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She has 9 years of experience as an emergency room nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. Cori has a Bachelor of Science degree from West Texas A&M and a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University where she also received her certification as a nurse practitioner. She has obtained a certificate of proficiency for the Sciton Profile Aesthetic System and in advanced laser technology. She also carries a certificate for Basic Light Applications from the Institute of Aesthetic Medicine. Cori is trained in all aspects of aesthetic practice and is excited to bring this new venture to her clients and friends.
Carolina Mejia
Carolina Mejia, NCMA, is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) and a Phlebotomist with a passion for weight loss and weight management. For the past two and half years, she has worked at a medical weight loss clinic with great success. As a weight loss counselor, she has helped patients lose a combined total of 10,000 pounds! Having struggled with her own weight, she knows the frustration of dieting. Through a physician guided program she has lost 30 pounds and has kept it off for the last 2 years. As a part of The Finer Touch, Carolina wants to get to know every patient and build a positive relationship to help guide them to a more balanced, nutritious, healthy life.
Robin Brown
Robin Brown RN, BSN, became a Registered Aesthetic Nurse in 2009 after graduating from the renowned National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to Aesthetic Nursing, Robin spent 10 years as a Registered Nurse providing critical patient care for children and adults in Louisiana until she relocated to Dallas in 2010. She has a passion for Aesthetic Injectables, Laser treatments and skin care; she holds advanced certification in many of these areas. At The Finer Touch, Robin is excited to serve the needs of our clients in all areas she is passionate about as well as BioTE Natural Hormone Therapy and Post Liposuction Treatments. When not helping her patients achieve their aesthetics goals, Robin enjoys running and exercising with her dogs and husband, and volunteering at several non-profit organizations including, coaching adolescents girls at Girls on the Run.
